REMINDER: HOLIDAY CLOSINGS
We would like to remind you of the December 2020 and January 2021 holiday banking schedule.
Thursday, December 24th 2020: Christmas Eve
Banks are open, but the ACH Department is closing at 3:00 PM –
Southwestern Payroll is open.
Friday, December 25th 2020: Christmas Day
Banks are closed – Southwestern Payroll is closed.
ACH, Wire Services, Direct Deposits, Deliveries, Check Dates and
Processes may need to be changed.
Thursday, December 31st 2020: New Year’s Eve
Banks are open and operating under normal business hours –
Southwestern Payroll is open.
Friday, January 1st 2021: New Year’s Day
Banks are closed – Southwestern Payroll is closed.
ACH, Wire Services, Direct Deposits, Deliveries, Check Dates and
Processes may need to be changed.
No electronic banking (ACH, Direct Deposits, Wire Transfers etc.)
can be initiated or settled on a banking holiday.
In general, all ACH, Wire, and Direct Deposit requests must have at least 2 business days to be processed by Southwestern and your banking institution. Days on which banks are closed are NOT considered business days. Making adjustments now will ensure a smoother processing during this busy time of year. Please contact your payroll specialist directly with any necessary changes as soon as possible.
